Washington Butler, born from Puyallup Washington State, became attracted to the arts as when she was a young child. The choir she sang in was entered into performances in singing contests, and was a part of high school and community theatre. After moving into Los Angeles, she studied acting at The University of Southern California and played Belle the Princess on the stage in Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland for an year and a quarter. Butler started shooting The Stranger Within with Estella and William Baldwin, the psychological thriller, on Mallorca in November 2011. In addition to New York City and Copenhagen, the film was scheduled for shooting in Copenhagen Denmark. She also was part of the cast of Treachery in which she starred Michael Biehn. The independent feature film started filming in Los Angeles in early 2012. Butler appeared in The Demented (2013), which was directed by Michael Welch with Kayla and Michael Welch.
